When people read resumes, they may be able to spot such applicant qualities as creativity, strong organizational skills, writing talent, and attention to detail. A human reader may also get a better overall sense of an applicant's personality and ability to market himself or herself. While a computer scanner can locate relevant keywords and identify errors, it cannot spot personal qualities that a human reader could notice.
