A significant proportion of consumers in the UAE do not speak the national language of Arabic. Guest workers in these countries are predominantly Indian, Pakistani, and Southeast Asian. In targeting these markets, firms would benefit from using English, which is widely understood, and the main language used in business rather than Arabic.
