The Southern African Development Community is a free trade organization that promotes economic cooperation among a coalition of 14 of Africa's more affluent and developed nations. Member countries include Angola, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, the Seychelles, the Republic of South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
