Compradors are manufacturer representatives. Complementary export agents do not take title to (i.e., purchase) the goods that they distribute. Parallel importers deal in gray market products. Import jobbers are a particular type of merchant middleman that purchases commodity goods from the manufacturer to sell to the trade (e.g., retailers) in the target market.
