Cooperative exporting is referred to as piggybacking or mother henning. In cooperative exporting, companies use the distribution system of exporters with established systems of selling abroad who agree to handle the export function of a non-competing company on a contractual basis. In this way the company piggybacks off of an existing distribution system.
