E

Answer to Question 2

B
In China, firms are expected to stay behind their products indefinitely, while in the U.S., firms are much less generous. In many developing countries in Eastern Europe products cannot be returned, even if under warranty. The text does not discuss Germany in regards to warranties. However, warranties are considered a marketing gimmick in Germany and are illegal. This information may be found in the Deciding on Information Sources section (6-4c).
