Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Political corruption refers to illegal and illegitimate actions, such as bribery and misuse of public funds, for private benefit by elected public officials. The common forms of political corruption include the appropriation of public funds for personal use, bribes taken from companies in return for special treatment (including the awarding of public contracts), and support for policies and legislation against the interest of the citizens in return for bribes and campaign contributions.
Bureaucratic corruption entails similar illegal activities for private benefit by bureaucrats, judges, or law enforcement officers. Althoughpolitical corruption is likely to be limited to a few politicians, bureaucratic corruption is likely to be more widespread as citizens come into contact with bureaucrats and police officers very frequently.
