Answer to Question 1

D
Q is a statistic that indicates how far apart group means must be in order to be significantly different. The Q statistic is calculated for Tukey's HSD test. You must know alpha, k (the number of means to be compared or the number of groups), and the degrees of freedom associated with the denominator of the F ratio (degrees of freedom within groups).

Answer to Question 2

C
When the calculated F is greater than the critical F, the results are said to be significant, meaning it is unlikely that chance alone caused the differences between the groups and likely that the difference was caused by the treatment.
