Answer to Question 1

Though there are many examples of price discrimination, price discrimination occurs when senior citizens get cheaper drugs, students get discounts at movies, or children under two can enter museums free.

Answer to Question 2

Marginal revenue is the additional revenue that a firm takes in when it increases output by one additional unit. In perfect competition, price and marginal revenue are equal.
