Answer to Question 1

C
The mean takes the value of all scores into account because all scores are added when calculating the mean. The other two measures of central tendency are not affected by extreme scores in the same way or to the same extent.

Answer to Question 2

B
To find the median, rank the scores in order of value and then find the one in the middle or the average of the middle two scores.
