Answer to Question 1

D
These premises are all operating in the experiment. The experimenter manipulates the independent variable and measures the dependent variable to see if it changed with the manipulation of the independent variable.

Answer to Question 2

C
The results of the experiment constitute a test of the experimental hypotheses ( logical premises). Saying that the data are consistent with the logical conclusion is equivalent to saying that the data support the premises of the experiment.
