I think she is genetically predisposed to suicidal thoughts and behaviors.. There are many different causes that can be used to explain behavior. Some of them are listed here. Determinists do not agree as to WHAT the specific causes of various behaviors are,but they agree that the behaviors DO have a cause.

Answer to Question 2

C
Dr. Behaviorist is emphasizing the person's reinforcement history as a cause of the suicide attempt, while Dr. Analyst is emphasizing personality factors, but both are in agreement that there IS a cause for the suicide attempt. Determinism is the belief that events have causes.
