The items that should be included when reporting statistical significance are: (1) type of test used, (2) degrees of freedom, (3) the outcome of the test, (4) the level of significance, and (5) the size and direction of the effect.

The two subsections typically contained in a method section are: (1) subjects or participantsdescrib es the sample that participated in the study, (2) proceduredescribes the step-by-step process used to complete the study.
