Less than 7 percent claim adherence to other religions, with about 8 percent identifying with no religion at all. Protestants are heavily concentrated in the South. In the West and Southwest, the Roman Catholic church is dominant. Jews are more numerous in large cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami.
