The economic dimension refers to the amount of income and wealth that different social classes have. Power refers to the ability to control the behavior of others, even against their will. People in higher social classes tend to have more power. Prestige is the recognition, respect, and admiration attached to social positions, as defined by one's culture and society. These three dimensions are strongly correlated.
