From a functionalist perspective, different cultures evaluate occupational prestige similarly because
 
  a. all societies share the same values and beliefs.
  b. certain occupations in all societies have greater access to resources than do others.
  c. occupations earn the same amounts of money in most cultures.
  d. culturally dissimilar societies must accomplish similar functions.
  e. the same methods are used in all societies to measure occupational prestige.

Question 2

In terms of professional sports for women,
 
  a. all sports have a women's professional league.
  b. there are women's professional leagues in basketball, volleyball, golf, and tennis.
  c. professional women athletes in the same sports earn the same salaries as men.
