Answer to Question 1

A social category is a collection of people who share some common social characteristic (e.g., women, teenagers, college graduates). A social aggregate is simply people who happen to be in the same place at the same time (e.g., the people in a theater to watch a movie). A group is composed of people who are in contact with each other, share some ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving, take one another's' behavior into account, and share some common interest(s).
