Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Weber recognized three types of authority: charismatic, traditional, and rational-legal. Traditional authority, based on custom, is more stable that charismatic authority, which is based on the traits of a particular individual and may end with the death of that person. Rational-legal authority is based on rules and procedures that define rights and responsibilities. It is the most stable form of authority.
