2. Describe how the automobile has changed the livelihood of urban residents by allowing them to live in one place and work in another.
3. Describe how work has shifted from focusing on farming, ranching, and mining and has moved to include furniture making and producing mobile homes.
4. Close with a discussion of how these shifts have impacted work roles that were once similar throughout the community and now have become more varied.
