Minimax strategy is the term coined by Richard Berk for the efforts people make to minimize their costs and maximize their rewards.

Answer to Question 2

AIDS appears to have originated in the Congo, and was probably transmitted from chimpanzees to humans as hunters slaughtered the chimps for meat.
