It seems obvious that rural areas foster a greater sense of community and social connectedness than urban areas, but how might cities be able to create a similar feeling of community?

Fewer and fewer corporations own more and more of the media outlets. As corporations control increasing portions of the market, they will suppress stories that are either not helpful to their objectives or those that simply do not contribute to profit. In this way, the process of framing, in which media is filtered through existing narratives and storylines, is further exaggerated by the agenda of big business.
