Scotland, a Calvinist county, did not develop capitalism and England, a non-Calvinist country, is where capitalism began.

Answer to Question 2

There is tension as well as full-scale military conflict between former states of the Soviet Union. In Africa there are major problems in Rwanda and Kenya. The former Yugoslavia has been a region of major conflict. Even in Germany, Mexico, and the United States, there are threats of ethnic violence.
