Answer to Question 1

Many Americans seldom come into contact with a Native American. About one-half of all Native Americans live in rural areas and one-third live in just three states: Oklahoma, Arizona, and California. There are less than 3 million Native Americans left in the U.S., representing less than 1 percent of the overall population. This leaves only 1.5 million Native Americans spread over 47 states.

Heroin has a slight affinity for opiate receptors. Most of its actions are due to metabolism to active metabolites (6-acetylmorphine, morphine, and morphine-6-glucuronide).

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
