Answer to Question 1

(Answer: c)

Answer to Question 2

Radical-Left View: The world's wealth is concentrated in a handful of very rich nations. Replace the capitalist world economy with a system that values people above profits, eliminate multinational corporations, use land to grow food for local consumption, and cancel foreign debt.
Liberal View: Most people in rich nations have more than they need, but 1.2 billion people around the world contend with a poor diet, inadequate housing, and little education. The rich of the world must share their wealth in the form of foreign aid that will improve health, schooling, and housing; oppose sweatshops; and support land reform.
Conservative View: Although more than 5 billion people in the world live far better than our ancestors several centuries ago, 1.2 billion of the world's people remain poor. Allow the productive power of the market to raise the living standards of poor nations today as it has done in the past; encourage capital investment and technology transfers to poor nations.
