Answer to Question 1

Cocaine used to be an expensive drug, which limited its use. However, drug entrepreneurs discovered ways to produce cheap and potent drugs from cocaine, such as crack cocaine. Crack gives an intense highalmost instantaneously because it is smokedand is extremely addictive.

The six major classes of drugs that are abused in the United States are alcohol, marijuana and hashish, stimulants, depressants, narcotics, and hallucinogens.
