Assessment of a pregnant patient in labor reveals what appears to be the baby's buttocks presenting at the vaginal opening. The EMT would immediately:
 
  A) lay the patient on her left side and administer high-concentration oxygen.
  B) place both hands on the abdomen and attempt to turn the baby into a head-down position.
  C) put the patient in a semi-Fowler's position on the stretcher and immediately transport.
  D) place the mother in a supine, head-down position with hips elevated and administer high-concentration oxygen.
