  A) baby leaves the birth canal and enters the vaginal opening, the baby is born, and delivery of the afterbirth.
  B) contractions begin, the baby is born, and delivery of the afterbirth.
  C) contractions cease as the baby enters the birth canal, the baby is born, and delivery of the afterbirth.
