the collateral ligaments, cruciate ligaments (anterior and posterior), and the patellar ligament or tendon

Answer to Question 2

Apply ice, using the PRICE procedure, to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Have the athlete lie on the back to relieve muscle spasms and pull the knees to the chest to help relieve the pain.
