Explain what T scores indicate. Why are they more commonly used than z scores?

A T score indicates how far a raw score is from the mean in numerical terms. T scores range between 0 and 100 and have a preselected mean of 50 . T scores are more commonly used than z scores because they have no negative values that are difficult to explain to parents.
