Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

Fixed ratio schedules of reinforcement reward the individual after a specific number of appropriate responses. FR schedules tend to produce high response rates, since the faster one responds, the sooner the next reinforcer is delivered. There is, however, a brief pause in the behavior immediately after each reinforcer is given because the respondent knows that it will be a while before he is rewarded again.
