Answer to Question 1

The basic goals of multicultural education include promoting self-acceptance, advocating respect for cultural diversity, reducing ethnocentrism and harmful stereotypes, and improving learning by embedding concepts in an ethnically related, personally meaningful context.

Answer to Question 2

Yes, there is a difference. The statistics on bullying clearly show that more girls than boys engage in bullying with most of it taking the form of insults, name-calling, and rumor trading. While boys also engage in verbal bullying, they rely more on such physical forms of bullying as pushing, shoving, hitting, and tripping.

Daylight saving time is used in some islands, but not in others—further shifting the hours out of sync with natural time.
