Explain the difference between intelligence as a capacity and intelligence as it is measured by contemporary tests.

Intelligence is a capacity that involves more than what specific intelligence tests measure. Other factors that should be included in the concept of intelligence are persistence, creativity, moral and aesthetic values, and the ability to formulate plans and carry them out.
