Qualitative methods can help explain trends and changes in the dependent variable that are not as evident or objectively identified via visual or statistical analyses.
Qualitative methods can help to explain confounding variables and events that impact the study's outcomes.
Qualitative methods can help in identifying biases or concerns of the researcher as well as other participants.
Qualitative methods can help identify nuances in the setting, participants, independent and dependent variables, etc. that assist others with understanding the external validity of a study.
