It is composed of members from different functions. Parallel teams are sometimes called problem-solving or special purpose teams. They focus on a problem or issue that requires only part-time commitment from team members. Virtual teams use interactive computer technologies such as the internet, groupware, and computer-based videoconferencing to work together regardless of distance.
