There are approximately 50 million Americans with some form of disability. Among people with disabilities between the ages of 16 and 64, the employment rate is 55.8 percent. Accommodating employees with disabilities is less expensive than people think  typically about 600. Disabled employees are less prone to absenteeism and turnover than other employees.
