In order to maintain consistency when scoring student performances and projects, devise rating scales or checklists. These can be used to keep scoring systematic across students. Rating scales and checklists allow various aspects of a performance or project to be evaluated with reference to specific and predetermined standards.

Answer to Question 2

A table of specifications is a chart that depicts the instructional content of a test and the taxonomic levels at which the content was to be learned. Teachers can use this table to determine the number, type, and content of test items to use in an exam. This process helps teachers to ensure that the instructional domain is sampled representatively and that the items actually measure the appropriate criteria at the right taxonomic level.
