Answer to Question 1

Maslow recommends that parents and educators enhance student development by satisfying their physiological, safety, love, belonging, and esteem needs. Furthermore, he maintains that students are more likely to realize their full potential when they are allowed to develop without adult efforts to control or shape their growth.

Answer to Question 2

The constructivist approach to instruction holds that knowledge is based on individual interpretations. When alternate interpretations of knowledge are reconciled, a
broader understanding is achieved. Therefore, exposure to individuals who have different points of view enhances meaningful learning.
