Answer to Question 1

If you adhered to Ginott's theory regarding communication, you would deliver an I- message. You would tell your students how you feel about an unacceptable situation.

Answer to Question 2

Try to make criticisms privately. After you have stated what the problem is, encourage the student to engage in positive and constructive forms of behavior.
