The advantages of large organizations are that they pursue shared goals and provide employment and services to the society. They use efficient means of production and produce large volumes of goods and services. The hierarchical organization they follow reduces confusion, ensures accountability, and boosts employee morale.
The arguments against large organizations are that they pursue wealth generation in an impersonal manner that dehumanizes employees. Bureaucracy is rampant in large organizations and this leads to the organizational vision being at risk.
