Answer to Question 1

B

Answer to Question 2

Analytical-style decision makers and directive-style decision makers are similar to one another in that they are both task-oriented and thorough, with a preference for logical reasoning. However, while analytical-style decision makers have a high tolerance for ambiguity, directive-style decision makers do not. Analytical-style decision makers also prefer having more information and multiple alternatives than directive-style decision makers. Analytical-style decision makers focus on finding the best solution, while the focus for directive-style decision makers is on efficiency, that is, making the decision quickly based on the few factors that have been identified. Lastly, while analytical-style decision makers arrive at decisions through a careful analysis of the available information, directive-style decision makers may use their intuition instead of logical reasoning.
