Answer to Question 1

FALSE

Answer to Question 2

Alternate dispute resolution (ADR) refers to a set of procedures in which disputing parties work together with a neutral party who helps them settle their disagreements out of court. There are two popular forms of ADRmediation and arbitration. Mediation is a process in which a neutral party (a mediator) works together with two or more parties to reach a settlement to their conflict. Arbitration is a process in which a third party (an arbitrator) has the power to impose, or at least to recommend, the terms of an agreement between two or more conflicting parties.
