(4 ) Communicate ethical standards through training programs or by disseminating publications that explain appropriate behavior. (5 ) Monitor behavior by having in place a system that employees can use to report criminal behavior without fear of retribution. (6 ) Develop a system for enforcing standards, such as by disciplining employees appropriately. (7 ) Respond appropriately to offenses by taking reasonable steps to ensure that they will not be repeated.
