Answer to Question 1

People are often unconsciously affected by culture. Individuals faced with new cultures may become confused and disoriented. In addition, when they return to their own culture, or are repatriated, they may experience culture shock again. The adjustment process follows a U-curve, moving from High Acceptance to Low Acceptance, back to High Acceptance over time. Culture shock comes from having a narrow view of the world.

Answer to Question 2

A
Explanation: A) Transformational leaders can inspire followers to attend to ethical issues by appealing to their morals. For example, they might raise awareness about hunger by appealing to the moral responsibility and ability to make an impact in their followers. Followers would then be aware of the issue and advocate for solutions, partially to fulfill a need to achieve a higher purpose.
