The main reason for the inappropriateness of an interview study designed to gather parents' opinions of the validity of the new statewide achievement test for elementary students is that
 
  a. it would not be representative of parents' opinions.
  b. it would require too much training on the part of interviewers.
  c. a questionnaire would more easily provide the information.
  d. most parents do not have sufficient knowledge about test validity.

Teaching is a complex occupation because of the variability among students and the constant need to analyze the classroom environment and make instantaneous decisions that keep lessons on track. This skill requires that teachers be knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics and have a wide range of teaching skills from which to choose.
