Answer to Question 1

Organizations need to obey the law and to act ethically. Corporate social responsibility involves more. Advocates claim that an organization has an obligation to the community in which it operates -locally, nationally, and/or globally. This may include such activities as developing environmentally-friendly products and contributing to philanthropic causes. It has been suggested that socially responsible companies perform well financially due to the virtual circle, whereby they attract customers and investors.

Answer to Question 2
