Answer to Question 1

D

Answer to Question 2

Internal validity is concerned with the validity of the inferences about whether the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable reflects a causal relationship; statistical conclusion validity is concerned with the validity of the inferences about the covariation between treatment and outcome. A study may be carefully designed and well controlled, but an error in the statistical analysis would lead to incorrect conclusions about statistical significance and effect size. Thus, internal validity depends to a great extent on statistical conclusion validity.
