When testing the statistical significance of a correlation coefficient, the null hypothesis states
 
  a. p = 0, the population correlation is zero.
  b. p = +1.00 or -1.00, the population correlation is +1.00 or -1.00.
  c. r = 0, the sample correlation is zero.
