Research on job safety may identify the causes of certain work-related accidents. The reasons for problems such as excessive absenteeism or excessive grievances may not be readily apparent. However, when such problems occur, human resource research can often shed light on their causes and offer possible solutions. Human resource research is clearly an important key to developing the most productive and satisfied workforce possible.
