  (a) Have I clearly identified the work that should be delegated? (b) Does the employee lack the cognitive ability to understand the task I am delegat-ing? (c) What standards of performance are expected? (d) Am I willing to spend time to train the person on how to perform the task delegated? (e) How much authority am I willing to grant?
