An OD practitioner tries to develop the ability to innovate within an organization's system. With this capacity, the client is able to develop and implement change programs without the practitioner's support. The self-renewal capacity concept will allow firms to continue to find ways to renew and revitalize themselves by building innovation and commitment to change into the values of the organization.
